Alyssa has been passionate about homes and design since the third grade, when a school architecture unit first sparked her interest. That early inspiration led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies with a minor in History from UW-Milwaukee, followed by a Master of Science in Historic Building Conservation from the University of Bath in England. A lifelong resident of the St. Croix River Valley, Alyssa has spent the past fifteen years working with cultural heritage organizations including Franconia Sculpture Park, North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area, and the Folsom House Historic Site in Taylors Falls. In addition to her work in preservation, she has helped numerous clients with renovation and design projects, blending her knowledge of historic architecture with a creative, thoughtful approach. Her deep-rooted love for the area—its scenic back roads, rich history, and vibrant communities—inspired her to pursue a career in real estate. Now, as a licensed Realtor®, she brings her unique background and local expertise to every client interaction, helping others discover the magic of living, working, and playing in the St. Croix River Valley. Alyssa is also the founder of The Landscapers' Daughter, a travel itinerary blog and planning service that celebrates meaningful local experiences. She co-leads a women’s hiking group and spends her free time exploring, hiking, kayaking, or cooking with her family. Whether you're dreaming of a historic home, a weekend retreat, or a forever property in the St. Croix River Valley, Alyssa is your trusted local guide and go-to resource.
